Metal Gear Solid 4 is predicted to be a big hit for millions of fans. A large amount of former Playstation fans bought an Xbox instead of a PS3. Will Konami capitalize on the Xbox360 gamer market possibly even in time for holiday season 08?

Metal Gear Solid seems to have a love affair with Sony. They've only branched out a couple of times in its entire history. That being said, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance was on the original XBox back in 2002.
Seems like a good move to me, but is there any news (or even rumor) that this being developed? They would be near the end of their development cycle by now in order to get ready for the marketing push.
I doubt that the development team has even began the development cycle for MGS4 on the Xbox360. The announcement by Fall 08 doesn't necessarily mean that it will be released any time soon or even this year. However, considering the vast amount of online gamers in the Xbox market, I see an enormous market for MGS4 with Xbox360 gamers. Depending on the sales of the PS3 release (probably very, very good) a smart move on behalf of Konami would be to have MGS4 ready in time for the holiday season for the Xbox360.
