In a crowd of larger and better-supported social networking sites and an uncertain economic climate, eCirkit will be forced to shut down its social networking service by the end of this year.
The criteria for this prediction coming true are a public announcement from the company that it is no longer supporting the website or its features.
This prediction will close approximately one week before the judgement date, or when an announcement is made, whichever comes first. Site's been shut down for at least the past few weeks.
Where are the links that report its demise?
@Bradley and @Kuan, we're looking into this and trying to track down what has happened. We have some theories as to why they are being so quiet, but need to do some more digging. Right now, getting an answer may take a little time.
@Eric, no problem. I am just as curious (despite having no position on this). Main site looks non-functional. Activity has dropped to near negligible levels. Yet, there were no announcements of its demise or problems (at least none that I could find).
See http://thestandard.com/news/2008/09/04/briefly-predicted-niche-social-ne.... Looks like there has been some due diligence done to validate this.
The company is non-responsive to requests for information. That being said, no one disputed the article David is linking to above. The site is down. Judged at 100%
