 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;!--paging_filter--&gt;A new Google project, Chrome -- an open-source browser -- was announced today.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This prediction is that Chrome will achieve at least 10% market share according to Net Applications (monthly statistics) by September 1st, 2009.  If Chrome is publicly disavowed by Google this prediction may be closed early.&lt;/p&gt;
