The two companies <a href="http://www.betanews.com/article/On_second_thought_Microsoft_probably_wont_buy_SAP/1196807941" rel="nofollow">denied</a> such rumors. </p> <p>Would such an acquisition make sense now that Microsoft has apparently moved on from the Yahoo debacle? Is it time to think about it again?  There are <a href="http://technos.ouvaton.org/2008/06/11/microsoft-sap-deal-time-to-think-about-it-again/" rel="nofollow">plausible arguments</a> for it. </p> <p>Prediction: SAP will be acquired by Microsoft by the end of 2008. Such an acquisition would need to be formally announced (not completed) by end of 2008 for a favorable judgment.  Bets will close on December 22, 2008, while judgment will occur on January 1, 2009, unless events dictate an early judgment.  </p> <p>Let the community decide.
