In what can only be viewed as a victory for online universities, Massachusetts state supreme court ordered the state's Board of Bar Examiners to allow Ross Mitchell, a graduate of Concord Law School, an online university, to take the State Bar.
Mitchell already has a license to practice law in California, but the Massachusetts bar has historically only allowed individuals who have graduated from an American Bar Association-accredited law school to take the state's Bar exam.
