T-Mobile has launched a wireless router that allows three users to share internet access from one of its 3G mobile broadband dongles.

T-Mobile mobile broadband users could share a 3G connection by slotting one of its USB dongles into the disc-shaped Mobile Broadband Share Dock 100. T-Mobile claims that up to three people can share the wireless connection comfortably.

It is thought the device will given away free to those purchase the £20-per-month mobile broadband package on an 18-month contract. Existing customers will also be able to purchase the Mobile Broadband Share Dock 100 separately. T-Mobile, however, has yet to confirm pricing.

I think this is a great thing to have. It's a shame that it is locked to the T-Mobile network, although I've heard Three will be releasing one as well. But, that will probably be locked to the Three network.

For anyone interested, I've written a short post on my Blog about using Routers with Mobile Broadband:

Enjoy,
