economy will not restart

economy will not restart before controlling the real estate and the construction business in general
i.e. lowering the materials prices to allow for more construction and consequently more development and more consumption

David, I suggest that this prediction should not be favorable if the offer is only for email applications and not the entire company. An offer for email applications would need to be clarified as this is not M&A really but just a business arrangement. I believe that Microsoft might already be licensing some of the blackberry apps already.

It will either be Microsoft or Google. Let's see if we can make this into a short term ROI prediction.

@ Marc, are you referring to sales figures in US or worldwide? I am assuming it is worldwide consistent with the http://www.reuters.com/article/technologyNews/idUSTRE4A58OK20081106?feed... report. Suggest making it explicitly clear.

LOL

We've found Compete to tend to get the trajectory right but undercount by about 60%. In August we actually did 110,000 monthly uniques (according to Google Analytics) however Compete only recorded 45,000. So to hit 100,000 on Compete we will have to hit about 250,000. I'm pretty confident on the current trajectory we should hit that.

@Garrick, if you track down the source of the 1.5M numbers, you will also come to realization that it was incorrect. Even Peter Chou is now expecting a mere 600K G1 shipped to T-Mobile USA by end of 2008. See the comment thread at http://thestandard.com/predictions/t-mobile-htc-dream-g1-android-sells-5....

The terms of this

David,

The terms of this prediction were met several weeks ago:

http://androidcommunity.com/15-million-t-mobile-g1-handsets-already-sold...

I've reworded and termed the prediction at 5 million by end of February and sent to Eric.
